Vanbrugh and Cibber
From A Comparison Between Laughing and Sentimental Comedy

Sir John Vanbrugh, author of "The Relapse" (1696) and "The Provoked Wife" (1697). His "Journey to London" was completed and somewhat moralized by Colley Cibber under the title of "The Provoked Husband" (1728). Cibber's own most important play was "The Careless Husband" (1704)
